Get better soon, Jay!

Hatching Pete!!! One more day!!!

One more day until the Premier of Hatching Pete on Disney Channel!!! Make sure you check your local listings for what time it will be on at your house!

It is a great uplifting story about being yourself!! Check it out on disney channel TOMORROW!!!! WooHoo!!!

Check out our interviews with some of the cast!

We sat down with Josie Loren, Mitchel Musso and Tiffany Thorton on the set of Hatching Pete and talked about her character, what it was like to kiss Jason Dolley, her most embarrassing on set moment, and more!

CelebChatters: Can you tell us about your character in Hatching Pete?
Josie: Her name is Angela Morrissey and she's the new girl at school. She's cute, popular, and nice. She doesn't have an ego on her. She's not snobby. Even though she's popular -- she's on the cheerleading squad -- she's really nice to the people around her who aren't in her clique, like Pete.
Tiffany: I play Jamie Wynn, the head cheerleader. She has a crush on Poole because he's the chicken and becomes really funny. She thinks she has to be with the funny person who's popular. She starts flirting with Poole in class and the next thing you know, they're pretty much together.
Mitchel: My character is Cleatus Poole. He's kind of nerdy-- just not popular. Poole is the school mascot, and he's awful. Then the school gets a new chicken suit, and he gets allergic to the suit. He asks his friend Pete to take over for him, and Pete's amazing. Poole gets all the fame out of it, and Pete's still a nerd.

CelebChatters: How do you personally compare to your character?
Josie: I was always raised not to judge people by their cover, and I do a really good job at that. I have all sorts of friends and give everyone a fair chance. You don't really get to know a person until you sit down and actually talk to them. Their outside doesn't say anything about who they are.

CelebChatters: What was your favorite scene to film?
Tiffany: I have two. My first is when we get to do the stunt scene, where we're up in the air. I have dreams about stunting because I haven't done it in so long. To be able to do that now is so much fun because I get to live out my dream. It was scary because you're up there, and you have to wobble around and look like you're falling. There's another scene where we're in the science room and I'm sitting next to Jason's character, Pete, and Mitchel comes in the room. Everyone's talking about the chicken. Jason is sitting next to me, and Jamie needs Pete to move. So I pick up his books, put them in his lap, and push him out. Then Poole comes in and sits next to me, and I flirt with him. There's a part where I hit him on the end of his nose with my eraser on my pencil. I was just joking around and did it once, and our director was like, "I like that," and I was like, "Okay, I'll keep flirting with an eraser!" It was a cute scene because I push Pete out of the way completely and then clear the space for Poole.
Mitchel: My favorites are whenever it's just Jason and I because they're so natural and fun. Also, the scene in the workshop when they're building the float. We have this big walking scene, and the whole scene is shot in one take. It was awesome.
Josie: My favorite scene to film was the kissing scene and what led up to it. We [the cheerleaders] were in a pyramid, and the pyramid collapses, and I end up falling on top of Jason.

CelebChatters: What was it like kissing Jason?
Josie: Jason made me feel so comfortable, because he's such a nice guy.

CelebChatters: Which cast members have you bonded with the most?
Tiffany: Mitchel Musso and Jason Dolley are a joy to work with. They're sweethearts and gentlemen. They're so much fun and really make it an enjoyable experience. Josie Lopez is a sweetheart. She's from Florida, and I'm from Texas, so we have that back home thing going on. I've known her for a while, and she's amazingly talented. The person I bonded with most is Madison Riley who plays Camie, Mitchel Musso's sister. She is seriously the most hilarious person.

CelebChatters: What was the funniest scene to film?
Mitchel: Anything with Brian Stepanek who plays Arwin on The Suite Life. He improvs the whole time, and it's hard to keep a straight face. He's great.

CelebChatters: Did you have any embarrassing moments on set?
Josie: We were cheering and we had our pom poms behind us -- we do this cheer where we put our feet back to kick and jump into the kick, and I slipped on my pom pom and completely fell. The girls started cracking up!

CelebChatters: What was it like filming in a real high school with kids everywhere?
Tiffany: At first nobody really knew who we were, so they were a little confused. Now they've caught on. One day when we were shooting, the girls went nuts over Jason and Mitchel. I walked out of the set and towards our chair rack -- where they have our names on the chairs -- and there were girls out there taking pictures of Jason's chair. They just wait out there and are like, "They're coming back from lunch soon!" They're big fans. I think that's adorable!

Zac Efron on cover of GQ

Zac Efron holds himself up on a parking meter in this hott new shot for the upcoming May 2009 issue of GQ.

The 21-year-old actor, who hosted Saturday Night Live this past weekend, is described by the mag as having “muscle-ropy arms”, “Japanimation-character bangs” and being “cute as a damn button.” Here’s what Zac opened up about:

On doing community-theater productions as a kid: “It was the worst possible thing you could do in high school. Kids who are in musical theater tend to be self-confident in a quirky kind of way, and when kids who are really self-conscious see somebody doing that kind of thing, they try to bring them down. I used to do random things, man. When I was a kid? I dyed my hair silver, to look like Sisqó in the ‘Thong Song’ video. I just didn’t give a f—. I didn’t care.”

On the entertainment business: “It’s crazy, all the stuff that happens down there. It’s the American dream. I mean, it’s beautiful. But it’s so f—ed up. Up here, everything’s green. And down there, it’s crazy.”

On why he chose to do 17 Again, which opens this Friday (April 17): “It’s very transitional, y’know? I didn’t wanna alienate the fans that had been around for so long. The fans, who’ve been around for so many years.”

On the rumors that he wore false eyelashes: “If somebody can find any photo that
shows me wearing false eyelashes, I will give them a f—ing million dollars. That’s bulls—. (pauses) You know what, dude? A couple of times, when I was young, and I didn’t know what the f— I was doing—it’s just what happens. Somebody’s there, and it’s their job. And
they load you up with makeup. They don’t do the girlie thing, but they, y’know, cover your zits. It didn’t come from a self-conscious place—it was just what everyone did. And since then, people just constantly think I’m wearing makeup. It’s a recurring theme. But f—, man. I have never worn false eyelashes in my entire life. (blinks a couple of times) That’s all me.”

On rumors that he and girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens were getting married in Kauai (he attended his manager’s wedding): “That was such bull—. I’m definitely not getting married. In this business, you’re either getting married or they want you to be pregnant. I’m not getting married until I’m 40. If ever. The thought never crossed my mind.”

Demi Lovato and John Mayer Twitters!

Over the past few weeks, Disney's Sonny with a Chance Star, Demi Lovato, and the singer/songwriter, John Mayer, have been having public converstations over Twitter using @messages. Things started with the 16-year old Disney sweetheart saying "Hi" and progressing to John complimenting her song, by saying, "I have La La Land by @ddlovato," (Demi Lovato) "stuck in my head. Actually, it's not stuck. I'm choosing to sing it. B section is sophisticated" and giving her career advice such as, "Write one song at a time, never apologize for any of them, ever. From Wonderland to Trio stuff, they're all my kids." Lovato seemed extremely excited by this extremely public compliment. "Holy crap. Thank you. You're so awesome," "That is quite possibly the best compliment I've recieved in this business. Thank you so, so much..... !!!!!!" and "See, That's exactly what I needed o hear today. Wow. If that's not inspiration, then I don't know what is! You're incredible :D"

Demi had recently said that she was going to try a different sound, and take a page from the John Mayer playbook for her next album. She said, "I sing a lot of rock, but this time I want to do more John Mayer-ish type of songs. Hopefully, I can write with people like him. I love their music - it would be amazing." Well it looks as if she has taken a giant step in the right direction and could very well be on her way to writing with John Mayer himself someday.
